A Nice Weekend
Well the last two days in Toledo, OH have been above 65 degrees! This weekend I decided to go explore the Middlegrounds Metro Park located in Downtown Toledo. The park was very nice and there were a bunch of people there. To an addition I also explored around Downtown and International Park. Besides exploring, I ran 2 miles both days and then walked 3 miles. I am training for the Glass City 5k, so this weekend was a perfect opportunity to get out and run.

This week has been crazy, Toledo had really nice weather and I went to Wild Wood for a nice run! I also survived my second week of classes. The biggest event that happened this week was I leased a 2017 Dodge Journey GT without a co-signer. This was a pretty big step in my life because this is something that I can call mine! I also went to my cousins 10th birthday which was fun and exciting. This week I have my first Anatomy & Physiology II exam and I am currently studying for it. I'm sending positive vibes the week and hope your week is great.

Pictures that I have edited!
Hello, this week we learned how to edit photos! Our theme this semester is the Urban Scan which is awesome! Toledo is a great place for this because we have a great skyline, university, zoo, and art museum. I'm focusing on the two places where I am the most which are the University of Toledo and Downtown ToledoI. Like stated before I am a university students and I spend at least 20-25 hours here. I work at a medical facility right outside of downtown. I work there 25 hours a week and on top that I'm usually downtown to eat or watch some type of sporting events. I picked my 5 favorite photos that I edited and placed them below! Please enjoy and feel free to comment! Here is the URL for my digital album: https://goo.gl/photos/VZUASZU3natpHeQu9

Introduction
Hello! My name is AJ and I am a sophomore double majoring in Public Health and Nursing. I live off campus in the Deveaux area. I came to the University of Toledo because I earned scholarships money and a lot of my family lives here. Another reason I came back was because the city is starting to revitalize, especially in the downtown area. In my free time I like hanging out with friends, taking pictures of Toledo, working out, hiking, fishing, boating, and playing with my cat Pride. I have lived in two other major metropolitan areas which were Charlotte, NC (11 years) and Columbus, OH (2.5 years). I was born in Toledo and I am absolutely proud of my hometown. Everytime I see a Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee I think of Toledo! The University of Toledo was my first choice for college because the College of Nursing is respected. I decided to get a Public Health degree because I want to be a Community Health Educator Nurse. The ultimate goal would be to get my Masters of Science in Nursing specializing in Clinical Nurse Practitioner.
